Your questions, answered

  • Do I need a script or referral from my physician to see you?
NO, you do not need a physical referral to see a physical therapy in Ohio. Based on Ohio's state practice act for physical therapy we must follow certain guidelines. Upon your consent, we will notify your physician within 5 days of initial evaluation. If no progress is demonstrated within 30 days we must refer out to an appropriate health care provider. If you have Medicare, you will need a qualified healthcare provider on your team for us to send updated plan of care and progress reports. We are always willing to collaborate with your healthcare provider regarding your care to better serve your needs.
  • What methods of payment do you accept?
We currently accept cash, check, credit/debit cards (including HSA cards).
  • Do you accept my insurance?
Our priority is YOU and nothing should stand in the way of that. We want to provide you with the most cutting-edge treatment techniques and methods that sometimes are not covered by commercial insurance plans. For this reason, we run a hybrid payment system in which we accept and process all Medicare and most Medicare Advantage plans. At this time we are an Out of Network provider for all commercial based plans. The good new is that in most cases it may actually benefit you to be with an out of network provider. Ask us how
  • Will I always see the same Physical Therapist?
We pride ourselves on going above and beyond in providing both specialized and individualized care and that only comes with continuity of care. We will do everything possible to ensure that you are treated by only one of our outstanding therapist
  • Will your therapist be treating more than one person at a time?
ABSOLUTLY NOT!!! As part of our mission to provide exceptional care we will never compromise your treatment by seeing more than one patient at a time.
  • What should I wear to my appointment?
In most cases loose fitting athletic wear is appropriate for your appointment.

INSURANCE

Winning Edge Physical Therapy is a hybrid physical therapy clinic in which we accept traditional Medicare and utilize a fee for service model for all other clients. Upon request, you will be provided with a detailed receipt (ie:  a superbill) that can be submitted to your insurance for any available out-of-network benefits. Unlike traditional therapy or medical clinics, if you have private insurance, you will always know exactly how much your sessions will cost before you have them. This payment model allows our Winning Edge team to focus on the most important aspect of your rehab, "YOU".

All service fees are due upfront at time of service for your one-on-one individualized care.  There are no hidden fees/costs or bills, eliminating all worry about a huge unknown bill while you wait to meet your insurance deductible.

We are participating providers with Medicare. We offer our services through your Part B benefit, both in the clinic and in your home.
